DEAR COLLEAGUES! That Tomsk is the large scientific, cultural, historical and industrial centre of the Siberia is known not only in the Russia, but and for from its borders. And the first transural emperor university, which became the centre of enlightenerness, education, study and development of natural riches of the Siberia has been founded just in the Tomsk province. At the present the Tomsk oblast also is known widely as one of the leading oil and gas extracting and oil-gas-chemical regions of the country. However, unfortunately, information, that the Tomsk oblast has the largest reserves of the solid minerals and hydrominerals resources, is known only to small number of specialists, geologists and leaders. The bowels of the Tomsk oblast contain more that 57 % of the Russian iron resources, more that 18 % of high deficiency zirconium and 9 % of titanium, about 6 % of aluminium, important reserves of polymetals and precious metals, rare metal and rare earth elements. The oblast territory occupies the second place in the Ryssia by peat reserves as well as is one of the richest regions of Siberia by reserves of building and glass-ceramics raw materials. Use of these resources is near to «zero» and investment potential is practically unlimited. We offer your attention the short review of the state of the forming mining complex of the Tomsk oblast, which basic enterprise, determined by resolution of the Oblast Administration, is the Tomsl mining company. Preliminary results of its work in the first year of its existence are given in this review, as well as the huge unused mineral raw material resource potential, which together with oil, gas, forest and water riches can and must be realised in the nearest years and decades, is shown. For the Tomsk oblast development of the richest deposits of solid mineral and hydromineral resources will become the new long term source of its social economical progress and increase of well-being of the population. The rousing mining complex of the oblast also is the real «Clondycke» for russian employers, foreign businessmen and investors. Just Your participation in result of collaboration with the Tomsk scientists, having international recognition, can help to create the new «Siberian silicon valley», which raises scientific-industrial rating of the oblast in many times and multiples invested capital of its participants. The present site is the first attempt to direct attention of businessmen to this huge potential and to invite to collaboration for its realisation. We are sure that Administration in the person of Governor and his Assistants and now elected Legislative Assembly of the oblast will make all dependent from them to ensure favourable investment and tax climate, optimal combination of interests of the territory and with interests of private investors.
