The Tomsk oblast has the huge unused mineral raw material potential
allowing to create the large mining complexes.

The mining branch will become the new source of social - economical development of the
oblast, which in 10 years will not be inferior to oil-gas and timber branch.

In geological plan the Tomsk oblast is the most interesting region of the south-east of the
Western Siberia which mineral raw material is on order higher than known at the present.

Degree of geological studying of the oblast solid minerals corresponds to level of 60-70 years
and requires increasing of the geological prospecting works and corresponding financing.

Development only of already discovered deposits will allow to create the necessary source of financing for their prospect, increasing of the geological prospecting works and new discoveries.

Mining industry will ensures use of new technologies, intriduction of scientific developments,
effective collaboration of industrials and scientists.

Already in the nearest years program of development of solid mineral deposits has to
become the priority direction of industry and economics of the Tomsk oblast.
