Collective of the Tomsk Geological Prospecting Expedition,
which celebrated in 1999 its 50 - year anniversary, sends his cordial congratulations
all workers of the Tomsk Mining Company on the occasion of the
1-st anniversary of its creation.
Despite of "infantile" age, the Company has climed itself as quite matured collective, which is up to serious scientific - industrial actions. It (collective) now is known not only in Tomsk, but in scientific circles of Novosibirsk on the both Ob banks, in Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Chita and in the Far East. How to explain it? By our opinion, it is explained simply - the named collective has raised the very complicated and very important problem. This problem is: how to bring the huge riches concealing in bowels of the Tomsk oblast: titanium and zirconium, gold and aluminium, iron and zinc, peat and brown coal as well as the rare metals, building materials, mineral and drinking waters on the service of inhabitants of the Tomsk oblast and the whole Siberia. Not being afraid to seem immodest, we must say, that all storerooms, saving the named riches in the bowels of our native oblast have been discovered, and sometimes prospected by us - geologists and hydrogeologists of the Tomsk GPE. Each, who is acquainted although a little with the Nature of our region, knows the prise of these discoveries ... But, raising from bore hole a kern with iron ore minerals, watching by days at pumping of underground waters or washing the probes in trays in October colds we hoped, not, we were sure ... Some time one will make rails and bore lathe, tractors and tanks from our ore, water from our deposit will stake thirst of our compatriots; gold grain, met in probe may be lead to discovery of gold field which will make our country richer. We waited, hoped, that some time it will accomplished. Now we received the right to be sure that it will be so. Why? Therefore now there is the mining company, which set as the object of its existance the problem to breathe the real life into store rooms of the mineral raw materials of the oblast, i.e. to open these store rooms, that they worked on the people good, in the Tomsk oblast. We are glad infinitely to this event and from our side we promise that always will be near the TomMC and in very possible way will support its collective in its noble business - realization of the eternal dream of geologist - exploitation of deposits discovered by them.
